Schedule maintenance periods

You can use maintenance periods to communicate with your customers when parts of your service will be down for maintenance.

Schedule a maintenance

Login to your Instatus at instatus.com/login then choose your status page.

Go to Maintenance, then click the Schedule a maintenance button:

Once you click it, a new form will appear. Here you can enter:

• Maintenance title.
• Current maintenance status.
• Your message.
• Components affected by the maintenance.
• Scheduled date
• Whether to notify your customers about it.

Click Add maintenance, and it will be added to your page.

Add a maintenance update

Go to Maintenance, then click the maintenance you want to add an update to.

You'll find the list of maintenance updates, click on Add an update.

Once you click it, a new form will appear. Here you can enter:

• Current maintenance status.
• Your message.
• Components affected by the maintenance.
• Date
• Whether to notify your customers about it.
