Automate using Pingdom monitoring

  1. Go to Instatus dashboard, under Monitoring, select Pingdom
  2. Copy your component's email address
  1. Open your Pingdom dashboard. Click on Users and teams → Users
  2. Pingdom dashboard
  3. Click Add user button Check the Contact (can only receive alerts), then click continue.
  4. Pingdom users
  5. Add the email of your component and click on Add user button
  6. Add email to users
  7. Go to Experience Monitoring → Uptime
  8. Pingdom uptime
  9. Edit the Uptime check that's related to the component you want to get automated.

  11. Under Alerting Settings, check the account you just created Finally click Modify check
