- **[Massive Music - Important Announcement] Load Testing** (SCHEDULED, 2026-11-16T07:00:00.000Z): Dear Clients, As part of ongoing improvements to our media delivery platform, we will be load testing our streaming and download endpoints. A full list of test endpoints is included below. The test is designed to find the first point of degradation, meaning the load at which performance starts to slip, such as slower response times or higher error rates. It is not designed to find the platform’s breaking point. We will stop increasing load as soon as degradation is detected, so the platform stays available throughout the test window. Test window Dates: Monday 16, Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November Time: 07:00–11:00 UTC each day During the test window there is a higher risk of errors, and affected endpoints may return a 429 or 503 status code. A full support team will be on hand throughout to deal with any issues and keep disruption to a minimum. Affected endpoints HTTP progressive streaming GET /stream/subscription: streams a track to a subscribed user, with optional concurrent-device blocking GET /offline/subscription: streams a track to a subscriber’s device when it comes back online, with device concurrency checks GET /stream/catalogue: streams any catalogue track for radio-style use, with no subscription check HLS streaming GET /stream/subscription.m3u8: HLS version of subscriber streaming GET /offline/subscription.m3u8: HLS version of offline subscriber streaming GET /stream/catalogue.m3u8: HLS version of catalogue streaming Download GET /media/transfer: transfers a media file at a specified format and bitrate for content delivery If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Client Success Team.
