# Wanneer stuur je automatische notificaties? 🤖

Zelfgeschreven updates zijn de beste manier om met je klanten te communiceren.

Als je automatische updates stuurt, kun je:

- Updates versturen die te technisch of verwarrend zijn of context missen
- Valse positieven of negatieven versturen

Sommige klanten begrijpen je updates niet en raken daardoor in de war of ongerust 🥺

Toch zijn er gevallen waarin je wel automatische notificaties zou kunnen sturen:

- Je gebruikt je statuspagina intern of als healthdashboard.
- Je gebruikt webhooks om zelfgeschreven incidentupdates naar Instatus te sturen. Die zijn klaar om door klanten gelezen te worden 🤗

### Automatische update-notificaties inschakelen:

Log in bij Instatus via [instatus.com/login](https://dashboard.instatus.com/login) en kies je statuspagina.

1. Ga naar **Statuspagina → Notificaties** en open daarna het gedeelte **Geavanceerd**

2. Kies **Abonnees alle updates sturen, inclusief automatische**
3. Klik op **Opslaan**
