# Import your Prometheus metrics

You can display Prometheus metrics directly on your status page. We pull the latest data automatically every 5 minutes.

1. Log in to Instatus at [instatus.com/login](https://dashboard.instatus.com/login) then choose your status page.

2. Go to **Status page → Metrics → Prometheus**.

3. Add your Prometheus server URL.

4. Choose how to authenticate: **No auth**, **Basic auth** (username and password), or **Bearer token** (API token).

5. After connecting, select the Prometheus metrics you want to display and add them to your status page.

Your selected metrics will appear as charts on your status page and refresh automatically.
