# Google Cloud Monitoring + Instatus

1. Go to [Instatus](https://instatus.com), under Integrations, select Google Cloud Monitoring
2. Select the templates to use when creating and resolving automated incidents
3. Copy your page's webhook URL
4. In the Google Cloud console, go to **Alerting** and create a new **Webhook** notification channel using the copied webhook URL
5. Add the notification channel to the alerting policies you want reflected on your status page

When an alerting policy fires, we'll create an incident on your status page using your create template. When it resolves, we'll resolve the incident using your resolve template.
